wow !! there is more !!

Then there is my Sarah .. She is a junior in High School this year . She is doing the normal teenage girl stuff ..She is an artist . A VERY good artist ! She loves to paint and to draw and she has the best eye for photography ! She loves the outdoors and will go anywhere that there is animals . She amazes me with her love for animals . She can spot a bird anywhere ! She loves to go in the jeep to the mountains and spend the whole day looking for animals . We do get lucky and have seen alot of natural wildlife out here. She loves Elk and Owls are her favorite. I will post some of those pics soon. Sarah entered her art in her first art exhibit here at the Davis Conference Center. She didn't place any ribbons this time but next year she is going to use her photography instead . I know she will win next year !
     Sarah is my model for photography . She will let me take her picture when I want to go to the mountains in the fall . I LOVE the fall and she just is so pretty in front of all those beautiful leaves ! She is the " Beauty " in the family .

WOW !! it's been a long time since I wrote on this !!

I cannot believe its been almost 3 years since I was on here last ! Alot has happened in 3 years !! Brett and I have gotten old ! The kids have all gotten WAY to old !!! Gosh , where do I start ?? I guess we will start with the Kids !

Bryan is in his 4th year at the University of Utah . He will need to graduate next year because he changed his major from Robotic Engineering to Computer Science.  He found out the he liked programming the computer for the Robots instead of building the robots.. He is pretty much at the U all the time and we see him late at night and sometimes on the weekends ! He is dating a really sweet girl named " Audrey" and she is also a student at the U. her major is film . She wants to be a film editor when she gets her degree. Bryan wants to make video games :) They have been really good friends for almost 4 years and they have been dating for 2. I have already been told that they are getting married once they graduate, get jobs, a car , etc. but they said I will not get any grandkids till I am almost 56 . Hopefully I will still be able to keep up with little people !! We rarely see them since they are like hermits and they travel to the dorms and our house . Once in awhile we can see them getting something to eat in the kitchen or coming in the front door or leaving the front door .. thats about it ..He is the " Brains" in this family .

Alan has moved back home with us . He graduated in June and he moved to my mom & dad's in Kansas for a little while . He got a job and then he decided he wanted to come back home . He is trying to get in shape so he can join a branch of the military. He is deciding between the Marines or the Army. Either one will work for him ! He wants to be a Gunsmith when he gets out of the military. He has 2 part time jobs . one is with a friend's dad and they other one is with a department store in the mall. If he's not working he is probably up hiking the mountain by our home . He loves to go up their with his friend Greg and they try to hike all the way to the top . They have taken some SUPER SCARY pictures from the top of a waterfall that just makes a mom freak out !! Beautiful pictures though ! I will have to have him share those with me so I can put them on here to make you guys all freak out !! I really missed having him home to help me with heavy stuff . He is the " Muscle" in the family .

We bought a Jeep wrangler a year ago and have been taking it out on many adventures. For awhile there is wasn't drivable .. The Mr. sunk it in a puddle behind Willard bay and it took us a long time to get it back from the jeep dealer. ..more on that adventure later.
just know that Jeeps don't float !
since then we have been keeping it out of water and taking it on dirt trails and over rocks ..it's alot of fun and something to look forward to doing on a Sunday .
we take the camera with us in case of a moose picture opportunity . We have been lucky so far ..

Christmas Day 2009

This year I decided to put everything in one big box for each of the kids ... that way there was mystery to what they got ... It was kinda like the " mystery boxes" on Farmville (facebook).

This year their lists were alot shorter than they have been in the past.. which was GREAT ! They all asked for games for the playstation 3 and some for the PSP and DS... Everyone was pretty excited that they got what they asked for and some little extras...

It was a weird year for me at Christmas.. I got Pneumonia so, it slowed me down alot. I managed to put the lights on the house (before I got sick) but I didn't get the reindeers and the sleigh out or any lights for the bushes and flowerbeds.. I did however bake cookies cause it just wouldn't be christmas without the iced sugar cookies , chocolate crackles and peanut butter ones !

This year we had Thanksgiving at our place. We had the family over , we got to eat lots of turkey and ham and we all played with the new baby ! We had Mom & Dad Ringel , Lisa and Morgan , and Brady & Cassie with cute Abigail... later Steph & Dustin came over with the boys and we had Kringel's and LOTS of pies ! we played Farkel and we also played Pirates of the Caribean Life... It was alot of fun !
